How a voyage gets verified

  1. Historical AIS baseline. Pull the master's actual track for the voyage from AIS records.
  2. Re-route under same weather. The VF Engine recomputes the optimal track on the weather as it actually occurred — not a forecast.
  3. Score both tracks. Run the FOC prediction model on both the historical and optimized tracks using the same vessel particulars.
  4. Compute delta. Distance, duration, FOC, and sea-state distribution are compared waypoint-by-waypoint.
  5. Document. The result is published, signed, and reproducible from raw inputs.

See VFWR: Charting the Optimal Voyage for the full validation methodology.

Every voyage

Real routes. Real telemetry. Real receipts.

We do not publish synthetic benchmarks. Every voyage below is a real commercial passage with documented before/after metrics — most of them appear in the VFWR validation study peer-reviewed at the University of Piraeus.
